Erik Lahnstein (born 23 June 1972) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.
When the second cabinet Stoltenberg assumed office following the 2005 election, he was appointed political advisor in the Ministry of Transport and Communications. In October 2007 he was promoted to State Secretary.[1]
Before this he had spent most of his career working for his party, as well as some years in the Norwegian Shipowners' Association. He took his education at the University of Oslo.[1]
He is the son of former party leader Anne Enger Lahnstein, and nephew of Inger S. Enger.
